I love getting creative with my smoothies. I never try the same thing twice unless it’s one of my favorites. I should really start writing down my recipes on paper other than on this blog. I used lots of frozen blueberries and minimized the strawberries. Instead of orange juice or water, I decided to use a bit of almond milk. It looked so good that my siblings asked me to make them some for the first time!
I know my siblings won’t like what I made, so I decided to keep theirs simple. Start off small just like I did when I started drinking smoothies with real fruit. For my sister, I used frozen strawberries, blueberries, and a bit of raspberries. I added orange juice to hers.
For my brother, I made frozen raspberries, strawberries, and a little bit of blueberries with orange juice as well. His turned out darker since I used more raspberries than I did in my sister’s smoothie.
Both came out as sherberts because I did not add much of the orange juice. They ate theirs with a spoon. It was actually my first time making a sherbert and I’m really excited with how it turned out.
Just as I warned both of them, it’s really sweet. To minimize this, add water instead of orange juice. Or, you can use almond milk like I did.
Hope you enjoyed this post. Your body will thank me. 🙂
