I appreciate you all and I just want to thank you for keeping me going! I’m being reminded each time that I am writing for all of you, and not for myself. Thank you so much for your kind words and support!
I hope that you are all able to spend today with your family and friends. Remember the true meaning of Christmas rather than getting caught up in materialistic things. A new phone, car, toy, clothes and jewelry are not eternal. They’re nice and all, however you can’t take any of that with you to heaven. Let’s focus on our savior and His birth.
Lord, I thank you for your sacrifice and your unconditional love. I don’t know where we would be without you. I can’t imagine living my life without you. I pray for those who don’t get a chance to celebrate Christmas, but I know you’re close to those who are hurting the most. I pray for all the little children out there and those who are homeless. May they continue to survive off what you provide for them daily even if it’s not enough. You are enough to keep us full. I pray that families come together to celebrate your birth. May our focus be shifted onto you, and not ourselves. This is all about you.
Thank you Jesus and I love you with all of my heart. You are my hope, love, joy, and peace. I trust you with all of my life. I’m yours and you are mine, forever.
Now the birth of Jesus Christ took place in this way. When his mother Mary had been betrothed to Joseph, before they came together she was found to be with child from the Holy Spirit. And her husband Joseph, being a just man and unwilling to put her to shame, resolved to divorce her quietly. But as he considered these things, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, “Joseph, son of David, do not fear to take Mary as your wife, for that which is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit. She will bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins.” All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had spoken by the prophet:
“Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son,
and they shall call his name Immanuel”
(which means, God with us). When Joseph woke from sleep, he did as the angel of the Lord commanded him: he took his wife, but knew her not until she had given birth to a son. And he called his name Jesus.
