My favorite things to do as I wake up are studying a scripture, drinking herbal tea, smoothies, and a good breakfast. I will also play worship music or watch a video. It’s the only time I get to be alone and spend the most time with God.


Since I haven’t done a smoothie post in a while, I thought I would share the smoothie I made this morning.


• 1 banana
• Handful of kale
• 3 pineapple chunks
• 5 slices of an apple or a whole apple
• Frozen strawberries
• 1 kiwi
• 1/2 cup orange juice
• Protein powder of your choice




My protein powder today was Shakeology chocolate vegan powder.

I love using the Sunwarrior vanilla vegan powder! This time I tried something new. One of my friends gave me a sample of her vegan chocolate protein powder from Shakeology. Since I have hashimotos and both hyper/hypothyroidism, I get really concerned when it comes to trying new products and anything that will hinder my health. Before I did a review, I looked up the nutrition facts and then decided to try this out. This is my second time trying this chocolate powder and I have felt great after drinking my smoothies. This was the first smoothie I used the chocolate powder with. I just used 2 bananas, 1 cup almond milk, and a scoop of the power.
